Great smaller sized kit

This kit has everything you need and nothing you don’t, I added some extra zfild bandages and some extra gloves, but those are items I always add to my kits. This is actually a gift for a family member who is just getting started and I think it’s perfect you could easily build this one out in many different ways but you have a good start with the provided kit. I’ll probably be ordering two more I have others but I like these. Overall outstanding get one for someone you love, or who takes care of someone you love. Cheers !

Awesome, multipurpose, Pressure dressing.

What an awesome bandage! If I could only carry 1 dressing, the Olaes would be it! I have used several on duty, and 1 at home. Pressure dressing, wound packing gauze, oclusive dressing, eye cup, and it can be utilized for other things. I carry 1 in every kit I have.

TacMed modular bandages are the cornerstone of my trauma kits.

Both the OLAES and Hemostatic modular bandages from TacMed are the first bandages when you open one of my trauma kits. The real advantage they offer is that in most cases you should only have to open one package if it's a wound that needs packing. If severe hemorrhaging is encountered, the hemeostatic bandage is ideal; everything you need is in one package.

If there is no severe hemorrhage, the OLAES is ideal and it has an occlusive sheet if needed. I pack it with a package of bleed stop rubber banded to it for added effectiveness if needed. The velcro stops are much appreciated keeping runaway bandages from rolling into the dirt.

Vacuum seal busted

1 out of the 3 OLAES modular bandages I received has a busted vacuum seal. It appears from other reviews that this is a trend. I think TACMED needs to inspect their vacuum seal process and QC prior to shipping.

Very Versatile Bandage

The Olaes Modular Bandage is an exceptional piece of tactical medical equipment designed for both professional and civilian use. It stands out for its versatility, combining multiple functions such as a pressure bandage, wound packing material, and an integrated occlusive layer. The inclusion of a removable plastic cup for additional pressure and efficient wound coverage adds to its effectiveness. The bandage is easy to apply, even in high-stress situations, making it a valuable tool in trauma care. Its compact design and multi-functionality make it ideal for use in combat zones, emergency response, and first aid kits.
