The Slishman Traction Splint, Gen 1 (STS) is an innovative traction device that solves many of the current problems with other tactical traction splints. The STS applies traction from the hip and is infinitely adjustable. A patented pulley system makes traction application easier than other devices, and a unique hitch allows use despite a foot amputation. Ideal for both field and hospital use, the STS requires minimal training and weighs less than 18 ounces.
