These sheers are sharp right out of the package. They seem pretty durable though I've yet to use them much in real world settings. I tested them on cut denim and some bandage rolls, which the Piranhas seem to handle well. These are the 7? Inch, I believe, and I can manipulate them one handed easily. I can not speak to the handle textures under wet/ moist conditions but I'm sure they will serve me well. The build quality is good, the price is right, and the blades are sharp. I will be purchasing another set or two.

I have been using them now for 5 years, they are well made, hold an edge really well and I use both the large and small size.

Very affordable and important to have when having to cut thic clothing and fabrics to address wounds. If you don’t want to break the bank on $40+ scissors, these are great to buy in bulk to place in multiple medical kits.
