Ridgeville Police Department Receives TacMed Medical Gear from Cops Direct Donation

in May 2020, Ridgeville Police Department received critical lifesaving medical equipment from a CopsDirect.org donation and with the support of TacMed Solutions.

Marshal Eric Huffman and Deputy Marshal Samuel Mauller wrote:

"Ridgeville Police Department would like to thank both of your organizations for your generous and considerate donation. RPD was donated a variety of emergency medical supplies that will be utilized as trauma response resources. Each officer will receive his own Downed Officer Kit which we have been unable to provide to officers in the past. The active shooter trauma bags and collapsible stretchers will be placed in our patrol cars to provide an easy access if we should ever need them. It is a tremendous benefit that our department has now been outfitted with these resources. Due to low budget issues equipment like this in the past our department has been unable to provide. We would again like to thank Cops Direct and Tactical Medical Solutions for their support."
